When unboxing your Wulf Dab Rig for the first time, it’s important to take your time and review all of the various components and accessories that came in your box. This way you can take stock of what you’ve got and ensure that nothing goes missing in your beginner rush to start out.

Trust us, we’ve all been there! While that first rip is howling to get let loose, taking just a few more minutes at the start of your journey will make a massive difference for your continued enjoyment for years to come.

Depending on your piece, your Wulf Dab Rig box may include:

• Carb Cap
• Terp balls
• Downstem

We recommend storing your extra components back in the box or in a dedicated safe area. This way you don’t end up losing any critical Wulf parts and have everything you need to get seshing in one convenient location.

2. Filling Your Wulf Dab Rig With Water

First things first, in order to cool down and smooth out the dabs, you need to fill your Wulf Dab Rig with fresh water. Starting with clean, cool water ensures your dab rig delivers optimal vapor filtration and temperature control right out of the gate.

To fill your Wulf Dab Rig:

1. Slowly pour fresh water directly through the top mouthpiece or open joint.
2. Fill until the percolator slits or downstem holes are submerged by about 1/2 inch to 1 inch.
3. Take a quick test draw (without heating anything) to check for splashback. If water hits your lips, pour out a small amount until the draw is clean and bubbling smoothly.

Only ever use clean water in your Wulf Dab Rig and make sure to swap it out frequently. Having clean water is one of the best methods of keeping your glass hitting consistently and tasting fresh.

Never use anything other than water in your Wulf Dab Rig, as using hot or sugary liquids can ruin the flavor, create sticky residue, or cause thermal shock to the glass that destroys your piece - plus it’s just straight up nasty.

One of our biggest Wulf Pack tips is to always start with fresh water and dump it out when you’re done for the day. It keeps your rig way cleaner and you’ll enjoy far smoother dabs as a result of it.

3. How To Set Up Your Wulf Dab Rig

Many Wulf Dab Rigs feature a modular design, with a few removable glass parts you need to assemble before starting your session. This is because all of our dab rigs come as full kits, giving you all of the various components you need right out of the box.

When setting up your Wulf Dab Rig:

• Insert your quartz banger gently into the main ground glass joint.
• Make sure your carb cap sits flush on top of the banger bucket.
• Have your dab tool and concentrates prepped on a silicone mat nearby.
• Take test pulls to check for smooth airflow before applying heat.

By following these general guidelines, getting started with any Wulf Dab Rig is going to be far easier. Go slow, and if something isn’t fitting right, take a second look to ensure you’re aligning the ground glass joints correctly.

If you notice any stickiness around the joints, now is also a good time to wipe it down with an isopropyl swab in order to prevent issues later on. It’s always easier to clean ahead of time, then deal with the problems later on.

4. How To Load Your Wulf Dab Rig

Now’s the time to prepare the fuel for your fire and load your Wulf Dab Rig with your preferred concentrate (wax, shatter, live rosin, or badder).

To do so efficiently, you’ll need to get a dab tool. These are available as standard metal dab tools and electronic hot knives. As both can get the job done, it comes down to a matter of opinion on which one is better.

Loading A Wulf Dab Rig:

• Always use a dab tool / hot knife
• Load concentrate around the size of a grain of rice
• Load onto the tool before you heat your banger
• Go slow

The Got Vape Crew recommends preparing concentrate around the size of a grain of rice, as this allows for optimal vaporization, all without overflowing or jamming up your banger with too much material.

In general, we always recommend taking your time while loading your Wulf Dab Rig banger and remembering that less is more. You can always take another dab, but you can’t un-dab one. Pace yourself, Wulf Pack, and you’ll enjoy the best results.

5. Heating Your Wulf Dab Rig Banger

With your concentrate prepared on your tool, you can now use a dab torch to heat the banger on your Wulf Dab Rig. A normal lighter isn’t going to cut it here, as your banger needs to reach incredibly high temperatures in order to properly vaporize concentrates.

Heat A Wulf Dab Rig Banger:

• Always use a dab torch
• Make sure the area is clear of hazards
• Hover the flame near the banger without pressing it up
• Wait until the quartz banger is red hot
• Leave time to cool briefly, before applying concentrates
• Be very careful

When heating a Wulf Banger you always want to maintain strict control over your torch flame in order to protect your Wulf Pack.

As these torches burn at several thousand degrees, you need to exercise as much caution as possible. Never jam the barrel of the torch up to your banger, instead leave a little bit of distance and allow the flame to do all the work.

Once you’ve finished heating your banger, remember that the tip / nozzle of your torch is going to be incredibly hot. Make sure to place it somewhere safe to cool off until your next hit to keep yourself safe.

Now that you know the steps to heat and load your concentrates, we’ve put it all together to give you a quick rundown on how to use your Wulf Dab Rig with ease.

Using A Wulf Dab Rig:

1. Prep Your Concentrates: Use a dab tool to scoop a small amount of concentrate (roughly the size of a grain of rice).
2. Torch The Banger: Torch the bottom floor and lower walls of your quartz banger with a butane torch until warm (usually 20–30 seconds).
3. Cool Down: Let the banger cool down briefly to reach an ideal low dabbing temperature (avoid dropping wax into red hot quartz!).
4. Apply Wax: Drop the concentrate off your dab tool directly onto the center floor of the banger.
5. Drawing Vapor: Inhale slowly and steadily while gently rotating or wiggling your carb cap to direct airflow across the quartz floor.
6. Cap It: Lift the carb cap off the banger to trap and clear the remaining vapor.
7. Clean: After you’ve finished ripping your dab, take a q-tip or swab to mop up any left over residues / material.
8. Rinse and Repeat: From here you can keep ripping your Wulf Dab Rig as long as you want or at least until you’re out of dabs!

Remember that long, relaxed draws produce the best vapor while helping maintain consistent airflow that makes for those epic, billowing clouds we all love! So never rush yourself and you'll enjoy dabs like a professional in no time.

7. Basic Wulf Dab Rig Cleaning And Maintenance

It’s a cold, hard fact that clean glassware tastes better, looks stunning, and hits far easier than dirty pieces. As a result, we strongly recommend keeping your Wulf Dab Rig clean to get the best possible performance.

After Each Session:

• Swab warm leftover liquid oil from the quartz banger bucket with a cotton swab immediately after your hit.
• Wipe down the end of your dab tool and carb cap with an alcohol wipe.
• Empty dirty water from the rig chamber.
• Rinse the glass body with warm water.

Deep Cleaning (Every 2 Weeks):

1. Remove quartz bangers and carb caps from the rig.
2. Submerge glass components and bangers in isopropyl alcohol.
3. Shake gently or let soak until leftover reclaim resin dissolves completely.
4. Rinse thoroughly with warm water and let dry completely before your next use.
