Wulf Deck Cleaning Quick Start Guide

Before we dive into the finer details of scrubbing down your Wulf Deck, we wanted to provide y’all with a quick rundown of all the most important steps to keeping things clean. This way if you’re in a rush to hit the skatepark, you can get back to vaping as soon as possible.

By following these quick 6 steps, you’ll have your Wulf Deck 510 Thread Battery all ready to hit for years to come, and all with the strongest level of pure Wulf ferocity.

1. Power Off The Wulf Deck Battery

First things first, when it comes down to cleaning the Wulf Deck (and any vaporizer for that matter) you must always first power down your battery. This ensures you don’t accidentally leak moisture onto a hot element and prevents a whole host of other unsavory electrical situations.

To do so on the Wulf Deck, press the power button five times (5x) and wait for the screen to power down. Now when you try to press the button, nothing happens, meaning you’re safely locked and ready to begin your cleaning.

Remember that powering off your Wulf Deck Battery prior to cleaning isn’t just a tip, but an absolute requirement to protect yourself, your vaporizer, and your Wulf Pack around you. Tap that button 5x and you’ll be all set up to clean your 510 battery with ease.

2. Remove Your Cartridge

Next you’ve got to remove the 510 threaded cartridge from the top of your Wulf Deck by slowly twisting it off. Make sure to place it somewhere nearby, as you may want to wipe down the mouthpiece as well while cleaning.

Removing your cartridge exposes the 510 threaded connection, allowing you to access the integral parts required to actually keep your Wulf Deck clean and firing efficiently.

Always put your cartridge somewhere safe and where you’ll remember. This way you avoid accidental falls cracking your oil cartridges and won’t get caught tearing your place apart looking for that mystery cartridge you swear you put down before cleaning.

3. Dampen A Swab With Isopropyl Alcohol

Take a q-tip or dab swab and dampen it lightly with isopropyl alcohol. Only ever use isopropyl alcohol, as this is by far the most effective and safe liquid to accomplish cleaning your Wulf Deck with.

Aim to have the q-tip head slightly damp, without it being completely drenched in liquid. The goal here is to have enough ISO that you can slowly scrub away at oil residue or stains, all without squeezing raw liquid into the internal battery compartment of your skateboard.

Isopropyl alcohol is required here, as you want to use as little moisture as possible, all while maximizing your overall cleaning capabilities. Stick with the classics and your board will be in good hands.

4. Cleaning Your Wulf Deck

Keep your sessions rolling smoothly by performing basic maintenance on your Deck. Once disassembled, take your swab dampened with isopropyl to completely wipe down the threaded connections, mouthpiece, and body of both components.

Gently clean the threaded connection on the top of your Deck, removing any sticky material build up. A clear connection is vital for preventing “Open-Circuit” errors.

Pay careful attention to the wheels on the Deck, using the swab to ensure any grime, pocket lint, or dirt is removed from the axles.

A true skater maintains their bearings, and your fingerboard is no different! Keep those wheels spinning freely so your deck is always ready for a tabletop kickflip.

5. Leave Everything To Dry

Now that you’ve cleaned all of the leftover oils and debris from your Wulf Deck, you’ve come to the point of “hurry up and wait.” After you’ve fully wiped down the device and cartridge, you must leave both parts to dry completely before attempting to use them again.

Place your Wulf Deck onto a towel or cloth, away from any hazards, and somewhere out of direct sunlight. Because ISO evaporates quickly, this usually only takes a few minutes.

Leftover moisture can cause serious short-circuit issues with your 510 battery, so protect your investment by allowing ample time for it to completely air-dry before moving on to vaping again.
