How To Use Your Wulf X-Ray Kodo Hot Knife
Kick start your sessions by checking out our step-by-step guide to using a Wulf X-Ray Kodo Hot Knife and load your concentrates with ease.
- Power on your Wulf X-Ray Kodo Hot Knife by pressing the power button five times (5x).
- Carefully scoop up a small amount of concentrate with the ceramic tip (grain of rice).
- Hover your hot knife over your banger / atomizer.
- Press and hold the power button to warm the concentration.
- Watch as your concentrates drop effortlessly into your chamber for vaporization.
- Wipe down the tip of your hot knife with a q-tip or swab.
- Load up and dab again!

How To Load Your Cartridge Onto A Wulf X-Ray Kodo Hot Knife
Thanks to the threaded 510 connection, your Wulf X-Ray Kodo Hot Knife is compatible with cartridges of any and all sizes. To load a cartridge onto your Wulf X-Ray Kodo Hot Knife, first remove the hot knife tip and place it somewhere safe.
Next take your desired cartridge and carefully attach it to the top of your Wulf X-Ray Kodo Hot Knife battery until it’s snug. Make sure not to overtighten and double check to see the two pieces are flush against each other for proper operation.
How To Use The Wulf X-Ray Kodo Hot Knife With A Cartridge
To use a Wulf X-Ray Kodo Hot Knife with a cartridge, first power on your battery by pressing the power button five times (5x). This will cause the three green LED lights on your battery to flash three times (3x).
Once your battery is on you can use the Wulf X-Ray Kodo Hot Knife like any other 510 battery, simply hold down the power button and inhale from the mouthpiece to enjoy a smooth stream of vapor.
The Wulf X-Ray Kodo Hot Knife has a 15s auto-shut off feature, which will cut the power to your battery after holding down the button for 15 continuous seconds. To start vaping again, release the power button and press it once more to reset the timer.
After your session is over, you can press the power button 5 times more (5x) and your Wulf X-Ray Kodo Hot Knife battery will power down for travel / storage.
Voltage Adjustment On The Wulf X-Ray Kodo Hot Knife
The Wulf X-Ray Kodo Hot Knife comes with a choice of 3 voltage settings to switch between. To swap between your voltage settings press the power button three times (3x) to skip to the next setting in line. In general lower voltages produce stronger flavors, while higher voltages deliver more potency.
The Wulf X-Ray Kodo Hot Knife uses the following LED coding:
- One Light - 2.5v
- Two Lights - 3.0v
- Three Lights - 3.5v
Once you’ve reached your desired voltage level, stop pressing the power button and allow the change to lock in. Now you can continue your session with the updated voltage settings adjusting your clouds potency, flavor, and overall volume.
How To Activate Pre-Heat Mode On The Wulf X-Ray Kodo Hot Knife
The Wulf X-Ray Kodo Hot Knife Kit includes a 10s pre-heat function to help with thick oils and concentrates. To activate your pre-heat function press the power button 2x. After the 10s countdown completes you can use your battery as normal but with an extra hit of power.
How to Charge The Wulf X-Ray Kodo Hot Knife
To charge the Wulf X-Ray Kodo Hot Knife Kit, make use of the USB-C port located at the bottom of the battery. For proper battery setup, the first time you charge the Wulf X-Ray Kodo Hot Knife leave it plugged in for a full 2 hours, after this never charge your battery for longer than 1 hour.
While plugged in and charging your Wulf X-Ray Kodo Hot Knife will flash its LED lights to indicate current battery level. Once you’ve reached 100% unplug your battery immediately. Always watch your battery while charging and never leave it plugged in overnight.
Troubleshooting The Wulf X-Ray Kodo Hot Knife
To protect you, your battery, and your Wulf Pack - the Wulf X-Ray Kodo Hot Knife Kit has several built-in troubleshooting warnings to let you know when something is up.

Power Button Warning: When the power button is held for longer than 15s, all three LED lights will flash eight times (8x). This is the auto shut off warning to protect from overheating. To proceed, release the power button and press it once more to reset the timer.

No Cartridge Warning: If no cartridge is attached your battery won’t function, instead three LED lights will flash five times (5x) to remind you to attach one.

Circuit Warning: If your battery is experiencing a short circuit three lights will flash three times (3x) and your device will stop working. Cease using until this warning subsides.

Low Battery Warning: When your battery is empty, three lights will flash ten times (10x) and the Wulf X-Ray Kodo Hot Knife will power off. Time for a charge!

How to Clean The Wulf X-Ray Kodo Hot Knife
To get the most from your Wulf X-Ray Kodo Hot Knife Kit you’ll have to keep it clean. Thankfully doing so is incredibly easy when you follow along with our tips.
- Always power off your Wulf X-Ray Kodo Hot Knife first. Never attempt to clean your battery while on.
- Remove the ceramic tip from the top of your battery.
- Use a q-tip dampened with isopropyl alcohol to clean the knife tip, protective cap, and threaded connections.
- Leave plenty of time for all moisture to dry. Never use your Wulf X-Ray Kodo Hot Knife Kit while any moisture remains from cleaning.
